While working on the second volume of Cathedrals to the Glory of God, and the British cathedrals I'd photographed, I came across this photo I'd taken inside the Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Wilfrid in #Ripon, North #Yorkshire.
Seeing as today is the Feast of the #Resurrection of Christ, or #Easter for western Christians (Orthodox Easter is 2 May 2021), I thought it might be appropriate to share. I found it also interesting to note that there are few, if any, western Christian cathedrals named to the Resurrection, while it is not unusual for eastern Christians, the Orthodox Church, to have cathedrals honoring Easter.
